Wow! This was so powerful. I'm sorry you had to go through such a harrowing journey. That little girl was forced to be so brave, but amazingly, she made it through and lives to tell the tale. I love how you described the messiness of your tangled emotions. The inseparability of them. These days we're told it's important to name each and every emotion in order to process it. I wonder if perhaps the bundle will unravel on its own, when the time is right. I've found that happens often, and all we have to do is wait while we surrender to what is, in the now.
